FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a digital PDF pattern, exactly?

It’s a pattern you download instantly after checkout — no shipping, no waiting. You print it at home on regular paper, or take the file to a copy shop for a large-format print if the pattern supports it. Once you buy it, it’s yours to print again any time.

How do I receive my files after purchase?

Your download link is delivered instantly two ways: (1) on the order confirmation page immediately after checkout, and (2) via email to the address you used at checkout. Your files are also saved permanently in your order history — log into your account at any time to re-download. If you don’t see the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If anything doesn’t show up, just message us — we fix delivery issues fast.

What file formats are included?

Each product listing clearly states the file formats included. Most products include high-resolution PNG files (3600×3600px, 300 DPI). Many also include SVG vector files. Canva templates include a Canva template link. PDF sewing patterns are provided in A4 and US Letter sizes. Check the “What You Get” section on each listing for exact details.

I’ve never sewn or embroidered before — will I be lost?

No. Every listing is tagged with a real skill level (true beginner, beginner, or intermediate), and beginner patterns are written to teach one or two specific skills without overwhelming you. If a listing doesn’t say “beginner,” it’s not a beginner pattern — we’re upfront about that so you’re never guessing.

Can I print this at a copy shop instead of at home?

Yes, for patterns that say so in the listing. Check the “What’s Included” section on each product page for exact file formats and print size guidance.

What software do I need to use these files?

PNG files can be opened in virtually any design software including Canva (free), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, PicsArt, and more. SVG files require vector software such as Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Inkscape (free), or Canva Pro. PDF sewing patterns can be opened and printed with any free PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Do I need a Canva Pro account to use the Canva templates?

No. Our Canva templates are designed to work with the free version of Canva. Some premium Canva elements may require a Pro account, but we aim to keep all core elements accessible on the free plan. This will be noted in the product description where applicable.

Can I use these designs for commercial purposes?

This depends on the specific pattern’s license — check the product listing, which will say either “personal use” or “commercial license included.” Seamless pattern packs (for POD/Canva/Cricut use) include a commercial license unless stated otherwise. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the original digital files themselves.

Can I share or give the files to others?

No. Each purchase is a single-user license. The files are for your personal and/or commercial use only and may not be shared, gifted, or redistributed. If a team or multiple users need access, each person should purchase their own license.

What’s your refund policy on digital downloads?

Because these are instant-access digital files, we can’t offer refunds once a pattern is downloaded — but if a file is broken, missing pages, or not what was described, message us and we’ll make it right. We’re a small shop and we actually read every message. Contact us within 7 days of purchase for any technical issues.

How many times can I download my purchase?

Your download link remains active for 60 days and allows up to 5 download attempts. If you need to re-download after this period, contact us with your order number and we’ll restore your access.

Do you offer bundles or discounts?

Yes! Check our Bundles & Mega Packs collection for the best value. We also offer discount codes periodically to our email subscribers — sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know.
